History
From the beginning, the club treated the assembly of the reserve team as an opportunity to partner with local teams from the South Bronx and West Queens to meet the Cosmopolitan Soccer League top tier reserve team requirement. It is a project that continues till this day and aimed to increase the clubs outreach into key soccer playing neighborhoods.
For the 2014-2015 season, Sporting assembled their very first reserve team by merging with CSL Third Division brethren Queens United. The team played in the CSL Reserve Second Division for 5 seasons obtaining a championship in the 2016-2017 season ny finishing top in their group and winning the division playoffs. The team also picked up two runners up medals in the 2017 and 2018 Harry J. Saunders Cup competitions.
In the summer of 2018, the club partnered with Bronx brethren South Bronx United. SBU served as the clubs reserve team for two seasons before joining the EDSL and its new East River Division to become a founding member club.
In the summer of 2024, the club partnered with local Bronx team Huntaz Football Club as their new reserve team for the 2024-2025 season.
