The clubs Mens team, named the "Astoria Warriors" was assembled in the Fall of 2002 joining the Metro Soccer NY League and participating in the Bryant HS Division. After a few years of recreational soccer, the club joined the Cosmopolitan Soccer League (CSL) in 2005.
The team played their first home game at LIC HS and finished as division champions in their inaugural season in the CSL fourth division. The title came with a promotion to the CSL third division. The team would spend eight seasons in the third division before obtaining promotion to the top tier divisions of the CSL.
In the Fall of 2014, the club moved out of Astoria and into the borough of the Bronx playing their first home game at the famous Evander Childs HS. In the Fall of 2018, the club would move again but remain in the Bronx this time further south to Soundview Park Soccer Field. By the end of that season, the club would win their first ever ENYSSA Jack Flamhaft State Cup (second division category) as well as the CSL Second Division Promotion Playoff to move up to the coveted CSL first division.
In the Fall of 2019, the team played their first ever ENYSSA Rapaglia Cup tournament - "The Cup of Champions" - and finished with a runners up trophy. Unfortunately due to the COVID19 pandemic, the team would only play half a season after the CSL decided to shutdown operations for the remainder of the season.
In the Fall of 2020 the club were given membership into the then newly organized Eastern Premier Soccer League (EPSL) - a CSL first division spinoff aimed of becoming a regional league. Unfortunately, Sporting would remove the Warriors from the EPSL after transferring their membership to D3 pro club New Amsterdam Football Club (NAFC). NAFC was a pro club playing in NISA - National Independent Soccer Association and were looking to have their reserve team play in the EPSL.
In the summer of 2021, the club departed the CSL to become a founding member of the newly created East River Division of the Eastern District Soccer League (EDSL).
For the 2023-2024 season, the club is returned to the CSL as a Division 4 team. The team achieved promotion to Division 3 but opted to return to Division 2 for the 2024-2025 season.
